- The legacy of George Richard Lee Turberville, one of the earliest formally educated Deaf individuals in the U.S.
- How early Deaf education in Virginia shaped communication and community.
- Efforts to preserve historic Deaf landmarks, including Turberville's former home and cemetery in Chantilly.
Bonus! Explore the Lantz Mills Deaf Village Traveling Exhibit at the Fairfax Museum & Visitor Center from April 9 - May 17, 2025. This immersive exhibit highlights a thriving Deaf community that existed for over a century.
