About the Show: A nine-year-old girl fantasizes about flying in a makeshift cockpit she has built in a tree. One morning, when she arrives at her airplane, there is a peculiar, elderly woman who “squawks” rather than talks and who needs her help. The girl believes that the woman is actually her heroine, Amelia Earhart, and in exchange for helping her she may finally get to fly! This story is about using your imagination and making the impossible possible! We combine live sound and puppetry to create striking images and theatrical magic. Best for ages 6-14, though all ages are welcome!

ASL Interpreters: Krystin Doud and Jayme Hux

This traditional tall tale tells of Wiley who lives in fear of the Hairy Man who lurks in the swamp. When Wiley’s Momma attempts to prepare him to confront the wicked trickster, he pays little mind. As Wiley ventures into the swamp, he is forced to think on his feet in order to outwit his opponent. Will Wiley succeed in banishing the big bully from the territory?

New Date Added for ASL Interpreted The Magic Finger at Imagination Stage

Due to popular demand, Imagination Stage has added a second ASL interpreted date for The Magic Finger at on Saturday, May 4th at 1:30 pm.  This story is based on the Roald Dahl book of the same name.
