Thank you to everyone who donated to NVRC during our #GivingTuesday campaign!

We did not reach our goal, but you helped us raise $960 towards keeping NVRC connected so we can continue to serve our Communities!

#GivingTuesday is a once a year, global day of generosity, but NVRC needs your support year-round!

As we head into the Season of Giving, please keep NVRC on your list for Holiday Giving!

A Fundraiser by Eileen McCartin supporting Northern Virginia Resource Center for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Persons

We are passionate about empowering deaf and hard of hearing people and their families to positively change their lives through improved communication. The NVRC Board and staff are diverse and reflect the many facets of self-identification. The overwhelming majority of our  Board is deaf or hard of hearing. Of our 6 employees (three full-time and three part-time), 3 are deaf, 2 are hard of hearing, and one has an immediate family member who is hard of hearing.  Four of our employees are fluent in ASL, and two have a basic knowledge of ASL. Our mission is personal!
