About the Show: A nine-year-old girl fantasizes about flying in a makeshift cockpit she has built in a tree. One morning, when she arrives at her airplane, there is a peculiar, elderly woman who “squawks” rather than talks and who needs her help. The girl believes that the woman is actually her heroine, Amelia Earhart, and in exchange for helping her she may finally get to fly! This story is about using your imagination and making the impossible possible! We combine live sound and puppetry to create striking images and theatrical magic. Best for ages 6-14, though all ages are welcome!
