VDDHH – Virginia DMV Offering ASL Version of Written Tests for Driver Licenses

VDDHH is pleased to share the attached press release from the Virginia Department for Motor Vehicles (DMV) announcing the availability of an ASL version of three different knowledge tests (Driver’s License, Motorcycle License and Commercial Driver’s License).

The addition of the ASL versions does not mean that a sign language user cannot still request an interpreter for the test.  VDDHH will continue to work directly with consumers who prefer a face-to-face interpreter to schedule an interpreter for the testing process.

Please spread the word about this!
